I think it's annoying how people think perfect anatomy and perfect shading makes 'real' art.

Your work has stylism. It's yours. Like Da Vinci, do you think he took lessons? PFF AS IF.

We can recognize your work, just as we can recognize Da Vinci or Picasso. (Of course, smaller audience. xD)

So don't feel that way! We like your art because you're original, and you found how to make a simple program effective all by yourself. You're inspirational. :3

go self-taught artists!
references are a hard thing to do because you dont want to infuse the original artist's style with your own, making your picture a copy, thought they are definitely vital sooner or later. if you dont want to get in a rut of someone elses style, use pictures for good refs. :]


this is great, a bit more chibi-looking than your normal works, and, to be honest, i like the angular take on your usual style. it doesnt look 'bad', its very professional looking and reminds me of something publishing companies would pay well for as illustrations in children's books. but explore your abilities a bit. look into cartoon-y styles as well as realism; after you explore your options you'll come up with a unique style that you are satisfied in and that is anatomically correct.

Listen here, your work is AMAZING, whether its in MS paint or not. I never thought I'd hear you say (see you type XD; ) anything like what you just did, because you are one of my artistic idols, not just for your MS paint skillages.

The greatest artists on this earth were those who didnt take lessons! Ive taken plenty of art lessons, and I havent learned a damn thing I didnt already know on my own.
And the anatomy? PSSSSH. Thats what makes your style your STYLE! Thats what I love about your work!

Art doesent have to be AMAZING or GLORIOUS or as famous as PICASSO. It just has to be something YOU like doing, and something YOU work hard on.

I love this picture. The softness and the expressions, the whole thing seems so calm! I especially like the little glowwys.
